Reflections – Blue Sky and Golden Walls
In April of 2022 I was fortunate to snag a single spot rafting down the Colorado River, the Grand Canyon for 10 days.

Yes, I’ve already done three blogs on this once in a lifetime trip. However, for you that like a condensed version, here it is. I belong to a camera club where we are to submit a slideshow of our photos taken during the year. We have a Christmas party and watch our slide shows. Maximum time allowed per slideshow is three minutes. Got three minutes to spare, here is my show.

Harold – Must be quite a job selecting which photos are going to make the cut for the presentation! The tour group standing in the cave strikes me as something out of the 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY.
Those people were with another group, a much larger party crowd. I went to their rafting leader and requested them to stand and make profiles.
Stunning!! What are the temperatures like in April in the Grand Canyon?
Easily 100 degrees in April. The splashes are ice cold and you are burning up in the sun. Right on the water was cooler. At this time of year, heat is not a big concern.
Harold, I especially love the patterns you find in nature. Enjoyed the “ride” along. Hoping to take that ride one day.
